Doddridge Controls Acquired by Rogers Electrical

Electrical contracting firm says the acquisition will expand projects, services offered, and customer base.

Fairmont, W.V.—Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc., an electrical contracting firm, has acquired Doddridge Controls based out of Fairmont, West Virginia.

A leader in control systems, panel design, and fabrication for over 30 years, the team at Doddridge Controls includes experienced control system engineers who are capable of taking a client’s conceptual design and develop a fully functional product.

They are home to a UL Certified panel fabrication shop and offer services such as instrument and process tubing installation for many industries, including gas transmission and production.

Doddridge also offers IT services including server/thin client networks, redundant hardware, fiber network runs, terminations and switches, IP security camera systems, and remote data acquisition.

Rogers Electrical says the acquisition will help them gain more hands-on experience, manpower, knowledge, and expertise. The acquisition also brings new in-house capabilities to expand on panel designs and other projects and will allow projects to be completed quicker and more efficiently for clients.

Rogers Electrical will be able to provide field labor and other electrical services that Doddridge Controls has not been capable of in the past. Along with the UL Panel Certified design and building experience, Doddridge will be able to contribute their many years of programming experience to the Rogers’ organization.

This acquisition took place in July 2020, making Doddridge a subsidiary company of Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. The Doddridge employees are now operating under Doddridge Controls Company, Inc. and will join the Rogers Electrical staff at the Business Park Office location soon.
