For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team is working on a turnkey project that includes all electrical design, electrical installation, programming, and start-up for the upgrade of a Coal Preparation Plant. 

This upgrade includes, but not limited to, the following:

An Allen Bradley ControlLogix Automation system, consisting of new processors and several remote racks.

Integration to existing plant system(s).

Expanding and Interfacing into the existing Ethernet Network, via both copper and fiber media.

Providing a state-of-the-art control room equipped with several HMI screens for operations.

Complete Ladder Logic Programming for all new equipment and the re-programming of existing to facilitate a consistent format.

Design/Supply/Installation of the associated power equipment, i.e., Transformers, Switchgear, Motor Control Centers, Power Panels, etc.

Supply/Installation of most associated control devices and instrumentation.

Design/Supply/Installation of the associated power, control, and instrumentation Raceway/Wiring.

Management of the electrical scope, logistics, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Facilitation of scheduled change-overs and testing.

The Rogers Electrical Contracting Co., Inc. team performed the Design and Build of many items to complete this turnkey Project.

Just to name a few – the Utility 138kv Metering, a 50MVA 138-34.5kv Substation, the 34.5kv Power Distribution, two 30MVA 34.5-12.47kv Substations, the 12.47kV Power Distribution to multiple feeds, and a complete SCADA system.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team has been busy installing several miles of power lines and completing construction on a substation in a remote location for the coal industry.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team installed more than four miles of conduit and ran 12kv wire underground for the primary service. Rogers also replaced all secondary electrical components within the park.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team installed a pad mount transformer for a hotel in Fairmont, West Virginia.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc.’s power line division completed two 12kv lines from the existing substation to a remote borehole site.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team installed 15 valve station RTU panels, which included solar panels and wireless communication capabilities throughout West Virginia and Pennsylvania for the oil and gas industry.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team completed a turnkey project that included all electrical design, electrical installation, programming and start-up for a new coal plant.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contacting Company, Inc. team installed wiring, programming and instrumentation for a Drijet machine used by a major company working within the coal industry.

For this project, the Rogers Electrical Contracting Company, Inc. team installed all of the main electrical components for the site. The installation included fiberglass conduit, incoming switch-gear, pad mount transformers, 2500 HP VFD controllers, 300HP VFD controllers, soft-starts, lights, heaters, HVAC, instrumentation, and control panels.
